Janet(she/her) got her start cutting hair at the age of 3.5 when she artfully chopped her own tresses into what can only be described as the most glorious baby mullet the world has ever known. For those who guessed it, that’s right, she’s an Aries. Her career turned professional in 2006 when she became a licensed cosmetologist. After working in salons for several years she became interested in expanding her skill set to barbering. Baddies have been the perfect hybrid space for her to explore her passion for haircutting. She prides herself on her versatility and loves cutting all textures and styles; give her your long layers, tight fades, shags, and Sassoon bobs, her Virgo rising will thank you! 

More recently she became a licensed esthetician and has opened up a little studio within Baddies, Break Room! She’s fascinated by all things skincare adjacent and loves to guide people- newbies to experts- through their own personal skincare journey.
