In 2017, Alana(she/they) opened the doors of Baddies, aiming to create a space for queer people to feel comfortable getting their haircut. With over 18 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and licensed barber, Alana specializes in fades and short haircuts. She is passionate about Baddies being a warm environment that fosters self-love and empowerment. When this cuspy cancer/leo is not at Baddies she is spending time with the loves of her life, going to the park & beach, and trying different restaurants around the city.
Janet Konz
Janet(she/her) got her start cutting hair at the age of 3.5 when she artfully chopped her own tresses into what can only be described as the most glorious baby mullet the world has ever known. For those who guessed it, that’s right, she’s an Aries. Her career turned professional in 2006 when she became a licensed cosmetologist. After working in salons for several years she became interested in expanding her skill set to barbering. Baddies have been the perfect hybrid space for her to explore her passion for haircutting. She prides herself on her versatility and loves cutting all textures and styles; give her your long layers, tight fades, shags, and Sassoon bobs, her Virgo rising will thank you!
More recently she became a licensed esthetician and has opened up a little studio within Baddies, Break Room! She’s fascinated by all things skincare adjacent and loves to guide people- newbies to experts- through their own personal skincare journey. Stormy McCrossin
Stormy (she/her) is a licensed barber, with a cosmetology background that’s forged a creative path within the industry since 2016. She specializes in various lengths, but always finds her way back to a mullet or a crispy fade. A true curl tamer, and shape builder/shifter. Her background in the New York punk scene has helped her eye for edge, and creative details. Iced coffee in hand, this Aquarius Sun always knows how to keep a conversation alive. Stormy believes in effortless, lazy-ish hair. She strives to help achieve personalized shapes that will last, helping you accomplish a low maintenance look with longevity.
